Five Ways In

What happens when we stop looking for a single meaning and instead ask how different ways of seeing shape what artworks become?

Five Ways In does not seek to provide the definitive reading of an artwork. Instead, each article offers a series of starting points: different methods, questions and perspectives that reveal how interpretation is constructed. Exploring art from multiple perspectives is something I’ve tried to do to help me engage more deeply. This series aims to make the processes of art history more visible and invite everyone to develop new ways of looking.
